Why this blog exists, what to expect, and the four pillars I'll be writing about.
This is a placeholder. The blog is live; the posts are on their way.
Why this exists
I spent three years shipping cloud infrastructure at fast-growing startups. Somewhere along the way I started building my own products — AI tools, content, a freelance agency. Two modes at once: scale-up engineer by day, indie hacker the rest of the time.
This blog is where those two sides compare notes.
What you'll find here
Four pillars:
- Build stories — retrospectives on each project: thesis, stack, what broke, what I learned.
- Scale-up engineering — patterns from shipping production infra at scale. Anonymized, not sanitized.
- Indie hacker / product thinking — the crossover content. Breadth over depth, the empire model, what a DevOps background teaches you about product scoping.
- Learning in public — courses, books, honest assessments.
First real post
Coming soon: "Lessons from scaling a platform from 0 to 100+ cities in 18 months." The story of what happens when a startup grows faster than its infrastructure.
In the meantime, see what I'm building or say hi.
